Four Ways to Get Certified
Complete the required online learning, then schedule a Self-Guided Skills Session at one of our participating Heartsaver Direct locations.
Adult & Child CPR only. Infant CPR (newborn–1 year) isn't available with Self-Guided. Choose Anytime & Anywhere or an Instructor-Led Class instead.
Not near one of our Self-Guided locations? Complete the required AHA Heartsaver online course, then complete your live skills session with Citywide CPR from virtually anywhere.
Infant CPR is available with the appropriate training option.
Prefer a traditional classroom experience? Our regularly scheduled public CPR and First Aid classes are available at two Illinois locations only.

Need CPR, First Aid or AHA certification training for your staff or organization? We offer group onsite training and portable solutions, including our RQI-P GO Simulation Station.
Certification Requirements
Infant CPR skills for newborns through 1 year of age are not available through Heartsaver Direct Self-Guided Skills Sessions. Choose CPR & First Aid Anytime & Anywhere or an Instructor-Led Class in Illinois if Infant CPR is required.

Yes. Daily Self-Guided appointments are available at participating Heartsaver Direct locations in Schaumburg, Gurnee, Chicago – North Center, Boston – Beacon Hill, Ann Arbor and Madison.
No. Heartsaver Direct Self-Guided Skills Sessions include Adult and Child CPR skills, but not Infant CPR for newborns through 1 year of age. Choose Anytime & Anywhere or an Instructor-Led Class if Infant CPR is required.
Our regularly scheduled public instructor-led classes are currently available in Mount Prospect and Schaumburg, Illinois only.
