Getting Started

Citywide CPR offers American Heart Association Self-Guided Learning for BLS, ACLS and PALS in the Chicago Loop. Healthcare professionals and students can complete applicable cognitive learning online on their own schedule before attending a self-guided skills session at a CPR Verification Station™ learning center. At our Chicago Loop location, learners complete required hands-on skills practice and testing using American Heart Association-approved equipment that provides real-time feedback. This flexible format helps learners complete BLS, ACLS and PALS certification or renewal while balancing healthcare work, school and clinical responsibilities in downtown Chicago.

American Heart Association Self-Guided Learning enables learners to complete the cognitive learning portion independently before completing required hands-on skills practice and testing using approved equipment with real-time feedback. For BLS, ACLS and PALS, applicable self-paced online learning is followed by a Self-Guided Skills Session at a CPR Verification Station™ learning center. Citywide CPR provides flexible Chicago Loop skills appointments for healthcare professionals and students completing AHA certification and renewal.
